I’ve always wanted to start a blog. I’ve previously had a tumblr blog and currently use Twitter and Instagram. However, I just watch and retweet, and rarely post my own original content on either of the platforms.

Recently, I’ve felt an urge to start something to document my journey into InfoSec. As of Summer 2020, I’ve spent over 5 years working help desk, the past 2 years working as a Systems Technician, and I’m nearly done with my masters degree in Computer Science at Georgia Tech as part of the OMSCS program (this will probably be another post). Now I’m at the point where I’m sure I want to work in InfoSec, but I’m not quite sure what.

It’s certainly overwhelming. There’s so much to do in InfoSec, and sometimes I feel like I have to know and learn it all.

That’s where this blog comes in. I plan to discuss interesting topics and issues that I come across at work, in school, and in my personal studies as I try to learn and navigate my way in the InfoSec industry. Maintaining this blog will hold me accountable.
